Qualifications:
Prefer candidate to speak Spanish
Previous experience working with students
Duties:
- Assist the teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays and instructional activities.
- Work with individual students or small groups to conduct instructional strategies assigned by the teacher.
- Assist with the administration and scoring of objective testing instruments or work assignments.
- Assist in supervising students throughout the school day, both inside and outside the classroom, including lunchroom, bus duty, and playground.
- Keep the teacher informed of any special needs or problems of individual students. Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly classroom.
- Assist in inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
- Assist the site facilitator in keeping administrative records and preparing required reports.
- Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings, and special events as needed.
- Assist teachers in the use of technology to enhance student learning.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
$15.00 per hour
Dates:
- May 30-31, 2024 (Workdays)
- June 3-27, 2024 (Monday - Thursday)
- Off June 19 for the holiday
Hours:
7:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. |
